FAQ

What kind of doctor is Dr. Rusilko?

Dr. Rusilko is recognized by the state of Florida to practice all forms of general medicine from the prescription of medications to procedural based medicine. The specific kind of medicine he studied, is called Osteopathic

Medicine. Osteopathic Doctors carry the same rights, education and credentialing as MD’s but were trained more to focus on the following principals when looking at a patient when compared to traditional MD’s.

  1. The body is a unit comprised of many individual parts working together.
  2. The structure of an organism will dictate its function.
  3. The human body is inherently meant to heal itself if the above two principals are in sync.

Do you accept Insurance?

No, we do not accept any form of insurance. You are free to try to seek reimbursement on your own. Please note because we do not work with insurance companies, we are not contracted with insurance companies or recognized providers by insurance companies. We cannot work with the insurance company on your behalf should you decide to engage in a reimbursement process. The most we can provide you in the is effort is a copy of your medical note and diagnosis codes (ICD-10 code) for you to submit along with any claim you desire. Most importantly, we do not suggest or imply that your reimbursement request will be awarded.

What are the costs?

Costs range greatly based on overall goals, lab testing desired and budget. There are two parts to the cost of a program at LFSTM:

  • First is the initial visit, labs, consult and program formation which starts at $850 and increases depending on labs chosen and program goals.  The most common lab kit chosen is between $5000-$6000.
  • Second, the supplements, mediation, and IV therapy costs vary according to your goals and your desired results.

No program is the same and will vary as we are customizing programs to suit patient needs/desires. Programs are priced based on 60-day cycles and can range from $1,500 – $6,500. Patient program length averages around four to six months (2-3 cycles) for patients to safely achieve their goals and transition off all medications. For the super-committed who prefer all-inclusive kits, we do offer programs that include all tests and medications, monitoring, personal access to the doctor for the duration of the two-month cycle, for $5,000 or $10,000.

The 365-Lyfe Program is for those with an unlimited commitment to a true lifestyle change and an unlimited budget. 365-Lyfe ss an elite membership with limited availability. Only 10 patients will be accepted or engaged in the program at one time for an annual fee of $100,000.00. Acceptance into the program is subject to a rigorous interview process. Not all who apply will be considered good candidates for this program, but for those that do – for this one year, all-in, 365-day program, the sky is the limit. The choice is yours.

I have labs done can I use them?

Yes, patients are welcome to bring recent lab reports or to have lab testing done outside of LFSTM. A $400 fee to have them reviewed and a program formulated based on those reports will be assessed for any outside labs ordered by another physician. Be aware that most labs ordered from your GP or even a specialist, may not include many of the individual tests that make up our comprehensive panels and further testing could be required to fully develop a proper program.

How long does it take for the tests to come back?

Testing turn-around time relies on our partnering laboratories and postal systems. Some tests take a day while others several weeks to be returned so please be patient. We will contact you the second your full lab report is ready. If time is an issue we can have certain results preliminary reported and a program initially begun within a week with the rest being added as they come in.

How long will I be on my program?

This also varies greatly among each patient. It is Dr. Rusilko’s mission and goal to have every patient on and off of medications and supplements within eight months (four cycles) as he focuses on restarting the ENTIRE body to function in a prime of life capacity. Many physicians do not practice this ideology and improper treatments may lead to the patient becoming dependent on their medications, a result that Dr. Rusilko considers a complete failure for even the most moderately healthy patient.

However, there are instances where life-long treatments may be required. This can be seen in patients with poor genetics, health complications and those who are advanced in age or have lived life to the fullest in every way imaginable. These possibilities are discussed and addressed on a case by case basis.

There are also those who want to feel healthy and act young indefinitely which is entirely possible and can be achieved in a safe and effective way.

Do you have discounts or promotions?

We do offer discounts to couples/families who are initiating a treatment together. Merchant charges can be eliminated as well for those paying with cash.

Why are other doctors cheaper?

Dr. Rusilko is a firm believer in “you get what you pay for” mentality. With LFSTM you are getting much more than just a doctor who writes prescriptions and sees you occasionally in a busy office. You are getting VIP treatment, a physician who has worked in this space from day one, a certified sports nutritionist, an exercise consultant, and personal access. If budget is your number one priority over your health and commitment to lifelong change and increased quality of life, then it might be best to shop for another clinic and physician.

Our focus is on COMPLETE customization for the individual, not a one size fits all band-aid. Dr. Rusilko also provides personal contact with every patient along with diet and exercise plans. His experience in this industry as a physician, certified nutritionist, lifestyle coach and personal trainer provides COMPLETE programs for his patients, not shoddy plans that leave out important components that might sabotage their program’s success.

For example, if your doctor prescribes weight-loss treatments with no diet… you may just be part of the herd.

If your doctor prescribes a little blue pill promising that this is your miracle cure to end sexual dysfunction without checking your hormones… you may just be part of the herd.

If your doctor prescribes botox, lasers, and skin cream promising healthy skin without evaluating your nutritional status… you may just be part of the herd.

Dr. Rusilko’s prescribes diet, nutrition, detoxification, medication, sleep correction, sexual augmentation and fitness guidelines to EVERY patient regardless because there is no miracle drug or magic bullet. Your body is a unit comprised of many parts and the health of each part affects the other.

What is expected of me as a patient?

Participation. 100% all in mentality and an absolute desire to change your life and your habits. Nine times out of ten when a patient expresses disappointment that the weight isn’t coming off, or that they aren’t sleeping well, it’s because they aren’t working the program. The first thing I do is ask for a food journal. It almost always tells me all I need to know. The supplements, my knowledge, and even the minimal approach to exercise is an amazing addition to your toolbox, but the diet – food choices and lifestyle commitment – is critical in the success of the patient. Learning to, or in some cases, remember how to take care of yourself, is the biggest expectation and the greatest gift you can give yourself.
