Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy
Boost Healing and Recovery with Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy: Enhanced Oxygenation for Improved Health and Wellness
What makes our HBOT one of a kind?
- Medical-Grade Hyperbaric Chamber, taking patients to 2 ATA with 99% oxygen being delivered via nasal cannula.
- Can comfortably fit up to four patients at one time
- One of the largest chambers in South Florida, rivaling others nationwide in technology and comfort.
All-encompassing approach instituted before, during, and after each treatment. Dr. Rusilko has formulated unique protocols geared towards enhancing the effectiveness of how oxygen is dissolved and assimilated into the system. These protocols involve various infusions, injections, and supplementation focused on each patient’s desired outcome and, in some cases, diagnostic testing. Since oxygen is pivotal to how our biochemistry operates, augmenting the surrounding factors that contribute to its functionality is crucial in maximizing its effectiveness.
How does it work?
Oxygen plays a significant role in how the body heals and grows. First, it stimulates the body to perform angiogenesis, where new blood vessel formation takes place. More blood vessels mean better tissue oxygen, enhanced perfusion, and cellular function. Second, Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) has been shown to significantly increase circulating stem/progenitor cells by elevating blood plasma oxygen levels, causing bone marrow-derived stem cells to proliferate and mobilize. With the increased number of stem cells present, enhanced and accelerated physiological repair takes place.

FAQs
The entire session lasts for 1.5 hours. Pressurizing and depressurizing the chamber takes about 30 minutes total, and the time at 2 ATA is an hour. Before each treatment, patients can receive an IV, injection, and/or an oral supplement to enhance the treatment’s effectiveness. This will be tailored for each patient during the initial consultation and program formulation. Two plasma TVs are available inside the chamber, offering a wide array of movies and TV shows for you to choose from during your session. Cell phones and tablets are allowed, but unfortunately, laptops are not permitted.
Wear comfortable, loose clothing. Bring some form of entertainment if you prefer not to watch the TVs, as sessions typically last about 1 to 2 hours. Avoid strong perfumes and colognes. Use the restroom before entering the chamber and avoid excessive fluid intake before the treatment, as it takes about 20 minutes to decompress once at full pressure.
The number of dives needed depends on the purpose of the chamber’s use. Whether for single dives or multiple sessions, HBOT is customized to each patient’s goals and needs. For anti-aging purposes, starting with 2-3 sessions per week is recommended. Customized plans can be discussed upon request.
